Circa 1870. This amazing Victorian sterling silver-topped 9KT yellow gold floral brooch features a shaking en tremblant floral setting and a curved stem with leaves accented with a total of 144 old mine/rose-cut natural diamonds that are prong/bead-set into sterling silver settings. The diamonds weigh 5.62 carats in total, with SI1-SI2 clarity and I-K color. The pendant is finished with an 18KT yellow gold pin. The en tremblant setting allowed the brooch to move in a way that was highly effective in reflecting the candlelight.
